TABLEAU DEVELOPER ANALYST

Key Responsibilities
Tableau Development / Management
- Design prototypes, create and maintain enterprise level analytics solutions using Tableau
- Develop Tableau visualizations to support organization, incl. ad-hoc data analysis requests
- Participate in preparing can and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the internal stakeholders, working closely with the Commercial Strategy team
- Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security model
- Curate and publish standardized data sources for Creators to access via Tableau Cloud
- Uphold visual analytics best practices and create stunning, highly-performant, user-friendly Tableau workbooks
- Monitoring and maintaining workbooks hosted on Tableau Cloud. This includes setting refresh schedules, monitoring usage, diagnosing issues, and improving performance as needed.
Fostering Visual Analytics / Educating / Troubleshooting
- Onboard new users into the Tableau program and assist with licensing and governance
- Directly train, educate, and troubleshoot Tableau users through working sessions and solving complex problems.
- Create and improve resources and documentation available to Tableau users
- Support and document business requirements for Tableau projects and translate into analytical and technical specifications as needed
- Assist with Tableau Cloud administration, including monitoring environments, diagnosing problems, and repairing issues in a timely manner
Data Maintenance
- Design, build, and maintain data sources used for Tableau development across the organization
- Work with team to ensure all data requirements are met and data sources have been optimized for dashboard performance
- Execute test plans and perform QA to assure the functionality and data integrity of reporting and dashboard solutions

Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Characteristics
• Bachelor’s Degree and min 4+ Years of experience or Equivalized Experience
• Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, foundational data analytics and data platform structures; ability to manage large data sets & databases
• Expert using dashboarding software (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, Looker, etc.)
• Expert in Programming Language (VisQL, SQL, Python, Java, C, C++, etc.)
• Expert at using ETL (Matillion, Alteryx, Fivetran, etc.) & maintaining Cloud Database (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Proficient in Excel.
• Not Required, but Preferred: Minimum 3+ years in Spirits or CPG industry, in the areas of Category Management, Market Research, or Market/Pricing/Data Analytics
